Emeleigh Brown was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta, and her MBA at the University of Calgary. During her masters, she decided she was very passionate about the psychology aspect of business, and started her journey to becoming a counsellor. She now has her Master of Counselling with a specialization in Counselling Psychology from the University of Athabasca. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in British Columbia.

She specializes in anxiety, depression, people pleasing, perfectionism, living a purposeful and values-driven life, and grief and loss. She pulls a lot of techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is her primary modality. She also practices mindfulness, client-centered therapy, unconditional acceptance and self-compassion, embodied trauma, and the mind/body connection. Every client has a unique story, based on their own perspective, beliefs, and values, and each is treated with unconditional positive regard.

In their own words...

Someone that they can trust with their whole story. A person who will listen with intent, with a focus of forming a therapeutic alliance based on empathy, honesty, communication, and unconditional positive regard.
